Jean is 17 and she is about to be a senior in the same Highschool I went to in Korea. ⠀ She flew into California from Korea for a dance camp in USC and made a quick 3-day stop in Sacramento for a dance shoot with me.⠀ ⠀ In her downtime, she went to Target & Safeway all by herself to get some chicken breast, avocado, and yams because she's on a strict dancer diet. She prepared all of that in the microwave and brought it to her shoot as her meal.⠀ ⠀ I'm so incredibly impressed by how disciplined, mature, and self-aware she is for being 17. I'm barely eating healthy and still losing to my temptations of having occasional McDonalds at the age of 24.⠀ ⠀ So excited to see her chase her passion of dance when she can be studying in the Summer like any other kids in Korea.
Yesterday at @ucdavis photographing this gorgeous graduating couple and I needed some extra height. My first back to back shoot (in a long time) that ended up totaling about 9 hours of work but I created such incredible portraits for my clients!!! - Thank you @jeanetic_code for this amazing BTS 👏🏻 capturing the intensity of the whole thing with the Aggies sign in the back 👏🏻
Happy belated 23rd @bethanytinklenberg !!! This was from a year and a half ago in Davis at my then new studio. It was beautiful contemporary loft with huge windows that let in the most gorgeous light. I had to move out 6 months in because of some issues in the area but just crazy to think it’s almost been a year in Sacramento already!!!
Excited to announce this month's Business Feature: Taylor from @pfamplatters !⠀ ⠀ Taylor was such a joy to work with and everyone HAS to try her platters.⠀ ⠀ Speaking of trying her platters, there are 3 things to look out for this Thursday:⠀ 1. We're doing a very tasty giveaway⠀ 2. Taylor is giving everyone on my email list a CRAZY-HUGE 40% off discount on her platters⠀ 3. Watch out for her blog!⠀ ⠀ *TIP: Make sure you're subscribed to my email list BEFORE Thursday's email because that's only getting sent out once.⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Also, I have to give big credit where it's due to Puno with @ilovecreatives and the major inspiration on the design of this content. I've been obsessed with the way Puno creates to storytell and communicate that fired off so many new ideas for me. I always look for ways to give value to people that follow me and not just pretty photos so thank you for the big inspiration Puno. I hope to change it up more as I go to adapt it to be more of me and connect with the community as well as you do
