Looking back at this beautiful wedding in the gorgeous June sunshine during official Pride month. Dora and Merryn met while studying for their PhDs in Brighton, and wanted an Oxford wedding as it’s Merryn’s home town. They just happened to choose some of my all time favourite Oxford locations for their day. After an intimate dinner at the Ashmolean Museum, they moved on to a big party at the Cherwell Boat House, a beautiful venue right on the river. Are you planning a destination wedding? Travel is a deep love of mine, and even though I’m happy to have found a home in beautiful Oxfordshire, the wanderlust still prickles my palms and I love nothing more than stepping out of a plane into a new climate full of new sensations and places to explore. On my walk yesterday I saw snowdrops and small flowers beginning to come up, the first sign of spring. It’s a reminder that it’s not long until the wedding season begins. I have to say I’m looking forward to both the warmer weather and spring weddings.
Two countries, one love.
I love this place! It’s a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos or engagement photo shoots. Get in touch to book👇🏼
Where’s your favourite romantic destination? I love traveling and have spent a lot of my life on the road exploring different cultures and living in several countries, including Spain, India, Israel and now England. So if you’re planning a destination wedding I’d love for you to take me along.
