Couples often tell me that they don't feel comfortable in front of the camera and ask me what we can do to make them more at ease. In my experience, those hours after you tie the know are the most relaxed and happy time. So here's my advice- don't worry about awkwardness, take a few minutes to savour your partner and let the joy and happiness shine through!

This morning I've been looking back at this amazing safari themed wedding. I am a hard core traveller at heart and have had many adventures around the globe, including my own safari- a solo cycling adventure in Kenya and Uganda. If you are planning something unique or a wedding abroad I would love to hear from you!
Who says you need a fancy bouquet? Laura is a Doctor of Forestry and works with genetic forestry and nutrition- she can often be found doing research in central America or the wilds of the Chihuahua desert! So this simple plant was a perfect reminder of the couples travels to tropical rainforests. You can check out their totally unique safari themed wedding on my blog- link in bio.
Looking back at the wonderful wedding of Audrey and Matt, I came across my favourite shot of their day, that moment wedding Matt put the ring on Audrey's finger. It was an amazing outdoor ceremony under a gazebo...in February! Just a reminder to all the couples getting married in winter that the light is utterly beautiful this time of year. They were blessed with a relatively warm day as well- I've noticed this often happens in February- it's a great month to get married!
Couple's portraits are often the only time during the wedding day where newlyweds have a little private time for just the two of them. Being a documentary photographer, I am not a fan of overly posed photographs. I love to capture the couple when they are unaware and it's just the two of them. Like this sweet moment between the lovely Elise and Toby.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Venue: @theoxfordyurt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Flowers: @willowandfernoxford⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dress: @maudika_bridal⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Menswear: @burrowsandhare⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Makeup @clareymoroney
