Happy summer solstice! Today I plan to deliver a wedding gallery, tackle some home projects, and then weather permitting mayyybe catch happy hour at my new favorite place and watch the sunset somewhere pretty?! With this many hours of daylight, so much is possible!! ❤️ How do you like to kick off your summer?
When the sky literally looks like a painting.
When your husband (HUSBAND!!) is really into cars and your dad has a beautiful classic, you must use it as your wedding day getaway car.
I've been a lot of places, but the skies in the southwest are unlike anywhere else.
Lately I've been practicing gratefulness. This sort of phrase can often seem so insincere. It can often seem like a little humble brag. Like, #blessed 💁🏻♀️🙏🏻✌🏻 👇🏻 But hear me out. ❤️ Did you know that practicing gratefulness is actually really good for your brain? Gratefulness is really the exact opposite to anxiety, so choosing the former will combat feelings of the latter. As a relatively anxious person, learning this really struck a cord with me. 💫 Every time I find myself sink into the feeling of not making my business goals, I remind myself that four years ago I wouldn't have dreamed that I could even make a living this way. Every time I worry that I'm too introverted for my own good, I remind myself that I do have a community of people who care about me. Every time I stress out that we're putting more money into our home and not so much into our travel funds, I remind myself that we have a beautiful house to now call home, we DREAMED of this, and every cost is an investment, and it's okay for that to be the season we're in right now. ☀️ Practicing gratefulness. 🌈 So what are you grateful for this week?
