Hans-Peter was enjoying the view from the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia. And so did I!
Hello Douro river! Driving the twisty roads following the Douro is a lot of fun. Feels good to be back on the bike! 🇵🇹 is beautiful!
Yesterday evening I picked up the bike in Lisbon. It is time to bring Hans-Peter back to The Netherlands! Still have so many stories to tell! First stop: Douro Valley!
Suddenly this beautiful city deemed up when I got out of the national park while driving the Slovakian Route 66. I was heading north to the Tatry mountains. This is Poprad in Slovakia.
Shit. Got pulled over in Romania 😂 Also check the second image.
Good morning everyone! This is Slovakia! A great country to visit although I really had to get used to paying with Euro again. Everything is so expensive again, compared to Ukraine!
Offroading in Moldova, even if you do not plan it, you might have to ;)
I really love all the decorations on the Ukrainian bus stops. I wasn't able to understand a thing but I like the way they looked. Although I was able to see some interesting parts of Ukraine, I didn't see enough. I shortened my stay because of the temperature of 35-38 degrees Celcius. (That's the advantage of not planning ahead) I fled into thecool Alps and will have to visit Ukraine again!
I think I should give Moldova another shot in the next years. My experience last summer was weird. It was way too hot (37 degrees) and every time I asked people if they maybe speak English, they literally turned their back to me. Weird experience. Maybe just bad luck. 🇲🇩
Look at this amazing church (?) in Slovakia! A very remarkable building that you probably won't easily miss while driving by
Hello sheep! Nice that we happen to be in the same spot. Will you please move over?
This was the closest I got to the #Perperikon in #Bulgaria. I did not feel like walking up the hill and found a trail that lead to this point. That reduced the climb by foot with at least 60%. I was able to conveniently park the bike partly out of sight (the bottom half 😂)
After 8 hours of Albanian rain I finally got to this point. I would say that it was definitely worth it!
Beautiful Greece! This is one of the turtle rescue roads (scroll a bit down in my feed 😉) You don't accidentally want to get off the asphalt though. Huge difference between the height of the asphalt and the side of the road.
Quiz time! Where did I take this photo: Answer A: Norway or Answer B: Montenegro? Time is ticking!
I found the most beautiful T-junction in the world! It's in a cave! This photo is also taken in Montenegro 🇲🇪
Probably the largest reflection puddle that I captured during my Europe Trip. It is only one of the few moments when I realized how beautiful Montenegro (and Europe in general) is!
Loved this Albanian road! First part off road and then brilliant new asphalt with beautiful curves near Grabom!
