VEG TAN Hand dyeing veg tan leather today for a custom order Chukka Boot. It's possibly my favourite way to make a boot, transforming a material from nude, flat leather, to a full pair, ready to go.
Trying out a new hand stamp, I'm so excited to see the N&W logo on veg-tan leather! I love this city of Sheffield, and the logo is dedicated to this place. The design is based on the seven hills Sheffield is built on, and the five rivers which run through it.
M A T T B L A C K. Not used this leather much recently, but when I do, I remember why I love it. Its like a deep, waxed velvety nubuck, it's gorgeous. Here it is in a ladies Chukka boot, size 5.5, with a Vibram Gumlite sole and locally woven waxed cotton laces. Fit for any goth.
I've been updating a vintage pattern from the back-catalogue in the workshop. Been wanting to reintroduce this style into the range for some time now, but it needed a little tweaking. This style is handmade by me, with a natural-toe shaped cap, sturdy Vibram sole as standard, and British woven laces. Photographed is a made to measure Mens 7 extra wide, in Midnight Blue leather.
