This is a view of our kitchen that I don’t share often. Maybe it’s because we still need to add trim to the bottom of the vent hood.... or maybe it’s the unfinished ceiling in the mud room, or it could be because I don’t have my “forever” kitchen island built yet... but that doesn’t change how much I love what we’ve done to this space. Can’t believe it looked like the second photo l just a little under a year ago. Also- I always get asked where the pantry is- it’s down this little walkway to the very left (the laundry room is right next to it)

This farmhouse table was our first furniture build when we moved in last year. As I was painting it, I could just picture the grand table scapes I would do on this 7ft beauty. Then every day life happened, and life got busy... I found that while I do love dressing it up for special occasions, it speaks to me the most when it’s in it’s natural, raw state.
