WOAH! What a lockdown amirite? Re-opening soon....stay tuned!
The team at Abattoir Blues have been working hard to adapt to the impact of COVID-19 on the hospitality industry. We are excited to announce that The Pasta House will launch next Tuesday, delivering the most authentic, home-made Italian pasta to your doorstep. To our valued customers, The health and safety of our customers will always be the most important thing to our business. For this reason, as well as leveraging off expert advice, we have decided to go into hibernation until this entire pandemic passes over. There is no safe way to trade, it's simple...everyone must stay home! We will be doing the same. However, working from home means we will have more time to bring some new and exciting ideas at the other end of this. We will be posting here regularly to share our future and will be looking forward to reconnecting with you face to face. We must reiterate what has been said in our previous post. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS. It won’t be as simple as re-opening and things will be back to normal. This pandemic will change the landscape of Sydney’s hospitality scene, and it's up to you to ensure that the change will be for the better. Especially those that have been most impacted - bars, cafes & restaurants. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing all your beautiful faces in due course. Sincerely, Abattoir Blues Family.
COVID-19 has hit the hospitality industry with mighty force. With the cancellation of all concerts, sporting events, Easter Show cancellation, closures of venues and more, our thoughts particularly go out to retailers, and those involved in Sydney Olympic Park who we're hit harder than most. In response to this evolving unprecedented situation, we would like to announce a few operational changes in the interest of health and safety, as well as our overall survival as a business. 1. We WILL remain open for those around, particularly those working within the makeshift COVID-19 headquarters in the RFS Building. However, we will no longer be trading past 4pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday. 2. In addition to our current high cleaning standards, we have implemented additional and more frequent cleaning regimes to ensure the highest level of sanitation throughout the venue. 3. We will no longer be accepting keep cups. 4. We will have sanitisers throughout the venue for customers to use freely upon entry and exit of the venue. Our thoughts to all those affected, including all hospitality casual staff who are without a job as a result of this outbreak. Please, we ask that you don't forget to support your local business.
