We asked what you were looking to improve on the courts and our tennis pros have answered! “What’s the best way to beat a pusher?” - This is a question that comes up more times than you know. One of my recommendations is to bring the pusher up to the net. Normally, pushers love the baseline because they are so good at getting everything back, so why not bring them up to the net and challenge them on their volley skills. This tactic encourages shorter points which is exactly what the pusher wants to stay away from in their strategy. - Tips from our Tennis Director and Pro, Conan Lorenzo.
Congrats to local tennis stars, Ros Nideffer, Debbie Spence-Nasim and Carolyn Nichols - these fierce ladies are representing the United States at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Seniors World Team Championships in Germany - best of luck!
