Yesterday was an off day for us. We had a lengthy to-do list and plans to leave the house for a bit, but somehow nothing got done and the only trip beyond these four walls was to pick up a Caramel Brulee Latte from Starbucks so that I could muddle through another late work night- which also didn't happen 🙃 . Today we've managed to be slightly more productive so while my son plays quietly with his trains and my daughter coos in her swing, I'll share a little throwback to one of our summer adventures; because who doesn't enjoy that view on a glum winter's day 🌨☃️ .
Today holds a bit of sadness for our family; our beautiful pup should be with us celebrating her 9th birthday. We we blessed with her presence for 5.5 years before having to say a sudden and heartbreaking goodbye. I will forever be grateful for the time we did have together. She was the best companion a girl could ask for 💕 .
There's no such thing as driving by an old truck and not stopping to check it out... even if we are tired and ready to head home 🚙 . We've been cooped up at home with colds for the last week or so and have been keeping spirits up by reminiscing about all of the fun adventures we embarked on over the summer. I think we're all looking forward to spring already! .
The sweetest boy who is never too busy to pick the prettiest flower for his momma 🌻❤ .
Our first outdoor photo together when Henley was three weeks old and despite the icy wind, she did amazing! I can't even begin to say how excited I am for all of the road trips and adventures we'll embark on this summer ☃️ .
If I ask Beckam to join Henley in a photo, he'll give a loud nuh-uh and walk away; nine times out of ten as soon as I put the camera to my face, I'll see him pop back into the frame and sneak over to Henley for some hugs and kisses. I just love how much he loves her ♡ .
