Anyone else prefer the just-after-the-first-kiss photo? 🙋🏼♀️
Morgan & Anthony opted for a sparkler dance instead of a sparkler exit, and to this day it’s one of my favorite wedding moments. All of their guests gathered around them in a circle while they shared a slow dance in the sparkly, warm glow. I’m always encouraging brides to consider this option if they’re interested in incorporating sparklers- it also gave me time to take so many more photos than I can during an exit!
One of my favorite moments...the introduction of the new Mr. & Mrs.!
I don’t work off of a shot list for a few reasons, mainly because I have a pretty good mental note of what I want to capture, and also because every wedding is so different and frankly unpredictable. However, I fell in love with veil shots a long time ago and I almost always include one if the bride wears a veil. The diffused light and closeness of the bride and groom always makes for dreamy, giggly photographs!
I love that my camera caught Marissa’s eye in this moment as she and Nathan are walking back down the aisle. I mean, she’s just beaming. And she was all day.
So thankful for this perfect fall day! I hope you all have the chance to get outside and enjoy it. Or better yet, it’s a perfect wedding day for all the brides out there!
I truly believe that every wedding is beautiful because of the promise it stands for, but I have to admit that I have a special soft spot for European-inspired design. Maybe it’s just the fairytale concept or the history of the venues, but it always pulls me in. The clean white light from stone and brick doesn’t hurt either 🙌🏼
