Here is today’s #starbaker - James Willis, with his chocolate cream horns that were literally devoured by the whole office within minutes! We had high scores all round today, with Rosh Patel’s gin and tonic loaf in second place and Sandra Swaybe Bennet’s Victoria sponge coming third. Mr Willis got 38 points, matching the score of Steveo Dawson and his famous coffee and martini muffins from the first round. ‘I worked hard – he said - using the benchmark of the last few weeks and now I want to set a record score during next stage.’ We can't wait for the next stages of #FingoBakeOff!
And today we've reached the third heat of #FingoBakeOff! Our great bakers James, Rosh and Sandra dug deep into their skills and spent last night working hard to produce three delicious treats. What will be the judges verdict do you think? We'll be back shortly to announce the winner of the much coveted #bakeoff spoon!
The second heat of #FingoBakeOff took place today. Results were declared early and we are here to announce today’s #starbaker: Sophie Foley! It was not close. The #BiscoffCupcakes were a guaranteed crowd pleaser and Ms Foley delivered. In second place was Luke Jenning’s cinnamon pretzels. In third place... well, the least said about that the better. On her victory, Sophie declared ‘Winning isn’t everything but it beats anything that comes in second.’ Strong, fighting words. A warning to all future competitors!

Your second judge for #FingoBakeOff⠀ ⠀ Emma Swan, HR⠀ Previously considered as Gordon Ramsay’s most steadfast Chef de Partie, Emma Swan has earned a reputation for being a kind-hearted colleague but an officious baking judge.⠀ ⠀ ‘This isn’t amateur hour. This is the big league. You can’t come to me with an undercooked lemon drizzle cake and expect a sympathetic A for effort. There’s no crying in baking!’
