• Hi all...life has thrown some unexpected, well maybe expected obstacles our way. We are so passionate about sharing our journeys, but it’s difficult when time must be spent going deeper in our healing.
💫💫💫
For me, I have been on my spiritual journey and path to enhance my intuition, but I crave so much more. I want to learn how to embrace my intuition and incorporate it into healing work. In order to do that, I must dedicate the appropriate time to practicing and learning.
😇😇😇
With all of that being said, we are not going to be able to post and connect as often via social media at this point. We thank you for those who made a true connection with us over these months, and we value your support!
Until we meet again...
✨✨✨
Blessings to you all!

  • Gratitude to go! Love this @cafegratitude
Speaking of gratitude..we recently went on a family vacation to Missouri. We had the pleasure of spending time with my husband’s family.
💫💫💫
It was a nice change from our fast paced lives in Southern California..experiencing nature and relaxing. With that being said, however, I felt very grateful for living in So Cal when the temp went from 75 degrees to 32 and snowing within a few days. Keep in mind, I grew up in Chicago, but this Ca girl is used to the sunshine now. I think I take the weather in San Diego for granted sometimes. ✨✨✨
It’s important to practice gratitude for the big and small things in our lives that we may take for granted (clothing, shelter, food, eye sight, hearing, living without pain, health, enjoying your favorite cup of coffee, friendships, etc).

  • My mom dressed us alike as kids, but not for too many years. She understood the importance of us having our own identities. However, we like to do it every once in a while because it can be fun:)
👯‍♀️
It can be difficult being twins, especially identical, because we are often compared to each other or lumped in as a pair without separate identities. People often say “the twins,” or “the girls” when referring to us. We shared a room, clothes, birthdays, but never boyfriends lol..we came close, though, we did date twins at one point!!
👯‍♀️
So, finding our own identities and purpose in life has been a challenge, one that we are experiencing currently. The older we get, the more our differences become apparent. This is a partnership, just like any other, where roles are shifting and paths in life are unique. It’s a part of our healing journeys to experience this and grow.
💫💫💫
How have you managed changes in your relationships with spouses, friends, partners or even children?

  • I know many of us have been down difficult roads, but ultimately they seem to bring us clarity, lessons and awareness...well, at least it has in my case.
✨✨✨
I would still be asleep if I had not gone through my struggles...I would not be sharing with you how I have healed emotionally and physically by becoming more spiritual, healthy and self-aware.
💫💫💫
What have you learned from the difficult roads in your life?

How Reiki Changed My Life
———————————————
How did it change my life? Well, I received my Reiki I and II certifications last year. I immediately started using it on myself, once in the morning and another in the evening before bed. To my surprise, I could actually feel this energy moving through me.
💫💫💫
I was as skeptical as the next person, so when my forehead started to tingle, I thought…wow this stuff is real! I grew obsessed, so when my daughter complained about her horrible stomach ache, I laid her down and performed Reiki while she was watching t.v. She immediately fell asleep, and when she woke up, her pain was completely gone. I continued to use this powerful healing on myself and my family (I was too chicken to try it on my friends or clients at the time).
✨✨✨
It has helped me tremendously with my OCD, anxiety, sleep, stomach aches...

  • So, if you ended up on an island all by yourself, no one in sight...would you be able to survive? Would you have fun? Would you get to know yourself better without all of our current distractions?
🏝🏝🏝
It would be difficult, right, because it’s human nature to want love and affection from family, friends, kids, spouses and partners. I know that I get lonely when the house is empty...but when it comes down to it, it’s really just YOU that will help you be the best version of yourself. It’s YOU that will survive this crazy world. It’s YOU that needs to be strong during the trying times. It’s YOU that will fight the fight if you get sick. It’s YOU that will stand up for what you believe is right.
💫💫💫
I learned to trust myself and believe in me, when I was going through a difficult time with my health. Sure, I had family and friends that supported me, but they could not relate when I was in a dark place mentally and physically. I had to believe and trust in the Universe that I would heal. I had to love myself and develop a strength that I never knew existed. I had to have fun and get to know myself better.
✨✨✨
I refused pills or alcohol to distract or take away the reality of the situation. I chose to feel everything, good or bad. I know some people need medication, I just chose not to go there and boy did I feel it all..still do at times...lots of tears, but elation as well.
I hope that you love yourself and trust that you can heal too..because it’s inside of YOU..it is your choice...YOU got this!

  • What are 5 things you love about yourself?
I have had people tell me that I am too skinny…. I thought when they yanked out my thyroid that I would gain weight, but it went the other direction (which I will take)! Granted, I eat a pretty clean diet and do not drink besides one or two glasses of prosecco per month, so that probably keeps my weight down.
The reason I bring this up is because I used to be self conscious about it, but I don’t let what people say bother me as much anymore. I actually embrace my body, skinny and all. So, for me, I’m happy to have found self love, but also these 5 things:
Spirit junkie
Great listener
Authentic
A loyal friend ( I would probably jump in front of a train to save your butt-depends on who it is ha ha jk)
Dedicated Mom and Wife
So, please tell me, what are 5 things that you love about yourself?
