There’s few things more important in coffee than the relationships we’re able to build with incredible people. A few years ago, we posted about @leeayu of @akhaamacoffee when we visited him in #chiangmai. Well, this time he was finally able to visit #losangeles himself for the first time so of course we had to roll out the red carpet and introduce him to all the homies! It’s been a very wonderful couple of days full of coffee and food, but we’re so glad we were able to reconnect and show each other how much we’ve grown and where we’re both headed. These conversations help us as roasters understand the challenges that farmers like Lee face, and make us proud when we get to showcase their #coffee on an international stage. While we only got to hang for a couple of days, we think we made the most of it, and can’t wait for the next! Cheers Lee, you’re always an inspiration and we hope we’re doing you guys proud over here!
We’ve been terribly busy but it’s always good to be back in the hood taking care of bidness with one of our longest supporters! The crew at Stanza in the Mission have always been stoked about what we’ve been up to, and we’re so grateful that they’re doing a banger job with all of our goodies. If you haven’t done so, go check it out and enjoy that fuego Chichen pulled through this beauty of a @slayerespresso!
Never a dull moment with the #bayside boys! It’s always good to catch up with @legalspeedcoffee and chat life while tasting the goods. @lyttlechris and @nickbayside have been roasting up a storm and it’s been fun to grow and share together as we continue to get better in this fast paced industry! Stoked to always gain a little inspiration from our homies doing dope things!
