To get the weekend started, we wanted to share a video that premiered last month at the #TCUintheHouse Party from Katie Belka Becker ’02 and the rest of the Becker Family from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Dear Horned Frog Family, Yesterday, we hosted a town hall with TCU Alumni to discuss how we can amplify our collective voice and presence to stand against racism, inequity, and discrimination. Today, I’ve heard from many of you as we all continue to search for the solution. A critical step in this process is to listen. This Tuesday, June 9, TCU will do just that. Join me for a virtual listening session where alumni will have the opportunity to voice our thoughts, concerns, and ideas. This will be our space, where our voices will be heard. Registration links in bio. Regards, Tracy R. Williams
Thank you to all those who attended today’s Conversation with Tracy Williams! We look forward to building off the momentum of today’s event by having further discussions in the near future. #tcutogether
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀 '𝟬𝟰 - 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟰 𝗮𝘁 𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗖𝗦𝗧 Over the past week, especially, we’ve been confronted with the harrowing reality of racism in a way that isn’t new to many of us but is still heartbreaking with each new headline. . During this time, I’ve personally been reacquainted with the pain and grief, but also the hope of what it means to be Black in America. . I’ve also been reminded that we each have a platform and responsibility to “think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community.” . More than ever, as alumni, our duty is to embrace these words as we stand together against racism and discrimination. . Now is the time to lead in a way that signals to the world that we stand together for equity and justice. . Now is the time to listen and the time to educate. . Now is also the time, to act. . We are not a community of complacency. We are a community of active leaders who can create change through conversation and connection. I invite you to join me in the conversation. . Register to join me live, Thursday, June 4 at 1:00 CST, on Horned Frogs Connect, to discuss how the TCU Alumni community can be the change. Through our newest online community, we will discuss how to leverage the tools and platforms we have to embrace and celebrate the diversity of our Horned Frog Family. .
