Great job by our friends at the @fortworthzoo! ・・・ BREAKING NEWS … Today staff from the Fort Worth Zoo, Texas Parks and Wildlife and other area partners released Texas horned lizards at the Mason Mountain Wildlife Management Area. The Zoo-hatched lizards are being tracked so we can study their movements and habits in the wild. We were the first to breed these Lone Star treasures for release into the wild and have led statewide efforts to repatriate them throughout their native range. Congrats to our horned lizard staff and many partners who helped make today possible!
