Added a new little one to our family. Meet Maple! He is a chocolate merle and we love and adore him already (despite the fact that he likes to wake up at 4am to play). I'm taking 2019 off to spend time with our new addition. You can see more of Maple adventures @beastsofburden or my personal acct @kiradedecker
Happy #TOT 😛
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Bunking down tomorrow with these three. We like to listen to music and chomp on delisous new things while they fireworks go off so I need some good treat suggestions to keep their mouths busy tomorrow.
Hello Friday. It's been too hot for me to photograph outside these days. (Am I big chicken when it comes to heat? Of course I am!). Sox is totally okay with sticking to the studio as long as I give him treats.
Is Bella a mystical forest creature of Chihuahua? This four pound little girl was found freezing on the streets in winter and is now living the goodlife ❤
I learned a few days ago that Wattie passed away and I'm sitting at my keyboard and I am at an absoulet loss of what to say. I absouletly adored my time with Watson the day of his session. He had a real zest for life (and by life, I mean food). I was laughing so hard at the stories his mom told (rolling in dead deer, eating Russian chocolates and then refusing to throw them up - a very Wattie thing to do IMO). It's not very often I meet a dog that has an appetite after their cancer diagnosis but Wattie cleaned out my supply of treats in the first hour - a first ever accomplishment by any dog I've photographed. Thanks to his parents he lived a life full of adventure, food and laughter.
This was my third session with Sora and I wish I could say it was a cause for celebration. At 11 years old, she has a tumor on her liver. Her moms are taking each day at time with her and I hope that they have many more with her.
And my heart feels like it's on fire. I love this beast.
Bella the Shepard Mix taking a selfie. Definitely, for sure not me getting slapped in the face. Not. at. all.
