Peer learning is when students learn and grow from interacting with each other. It’s amazing how much students can benefit from explaining their ideas and participating in activities in which they can learn from one another.
September 13th is the Japanese moon-viewing festival, Tsukimi (月見) 🌕 This is the day when many Japanese people enjoy the waxing autumn moon along with seasonal treats, like tsukimi-dango (月見団子), a delicious harvest treat! 🍡

The California Science Center's F/A-18A Hornet sits in front of its entrance by the Rose Garden! This aircraft is on loan from the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida. ✈️😮 Our students found it absolutely fascinating!
Fishing for plankton on a lovely summer day in Woods Hole, Cape Cod! 🌞 This small town is the perfect mix of quaint New England scenery and cutting-edge marine biology research 🐋 • 📍Fun fact: Emperor Hirohito of Japan did marine biology research himself and visited Woods Hole as an honored guest!
