  • Life around here has been challenging lately to say the least. I tend to distance myself when I’m struggling and....I wrestled with the idea of keeping this private or talking about it. Until recently, only our close friends and family knew that Field is away on work long distance for long periods of time. I may or may not have said it on a podcast I was a guest on...🤷🏻‍♀️I miss him so much that some days I don’t want to even get out of bed. And the kids miss him fiercely...which takes its own emotional toll on this mama seeing the kids upset or struggling without their dad. Thank goodness for FaceTime calls. His new job, which is wonderful & amazing, keeps him a thousand miles away. It was a decision we consciously made, after a lot of discussions, consideration, pro-con lists and family meetings. We do not regret the decision we made one bit, but it doesn’t make it any easier to be so far apart. Today just felt like the day to put it out into the universe. I miss him so much it hurts. Our next visit cannot come soon enough.
