Rant ahead - These kind of pictures are usually the kind that I keep for my own reference, no posing, no flexing. The left photo is from 2014 when I first started taking my health seriously, and began studying nutrition. The right photo is now. There were ups, downs, times when I would spend a whole day eating crap food because I was sad, injuries, discovering I have PCOS and insulin resistance, and even times where I felt really bad about my body image - but the one thing I never did throughout this was stop. — I had to grow into feeling comfortable with my body. I had to even accept the ‘annoying’ things about it if I could not change them. There is a difference between positive acceptance and complacency. I’ve learnt that complacency won’t move you forward, and your ‘flaws’ cease to be flaws when you stop labelling them that. — I’m not lucky, I’m determined. I now want to show people how to tap into their determination. You have it within you, you just might not have found out how to switch it on yet. This is why I love what I do sooo much, reading stories from people who follow my @eatrunlift programs and come out and continue to train and look after themselves even when the program is finished. I want to set you up for success, not give you a half-assed, short-term solution. — I’ve also just spent months creating my brand new Mindset Coaching program based off all the thought processes and self-assessments I use, which I’ve integrated into the @eatrunlift ERL12 online 12 week challenge (starts Sep 18). Feeling so good about the blood test results I got back today! It's so empowering when all the hard work you put in is actually healing your body. Readjusting to a long-term way of thinking has been one of the best things I've done - highly recommend it, short-term gratification will never outweigh it. I'm going to do an update video to catch you guys up on all the training/nutrition changes (I already covered supps last week).
