TAMAGOYAKI is a famous Japanese rolled omelette that is typically served for breakfast but also makes a lovely ‘TSUMAMI’= nibbles that accompany pre-dinner drinks, or a side to any meal for that matter. Tamagoyaki is soft and savoury, and unlike the usual omelette, it's made into a block shape and cut into thick slices to serve. Delicious warm or cold, it also makes an excellent bento box filling.
