I don’t know about you but I love hearing about people’s goals for the year. Mainly the really specific ones. So today I’m sharing one of my creative goals for 2019! It’s no secret I’m a portrait photographer, BUT one of my goals this year is to take more pictures without people in it. Sounds crazy, I know. 🤣👌🏼 I took this of the Waco Suspension bridge on my quick trip to Texas. ❤️ And now for some Texas history that many of you may not care about at all 🤣👌🏼At the time that this bridge was built it was the longest single-span suspension bridge west of the Mississippi River. The bridge opened in 1870!!! It’s a historic Waco icon now. One of the things it’s most known for now a days is for tortilla tossing. If it sounds odd, that’s because it is. A Waco tradition involves tossing tortillas off of this bridge onto nearby concrete structures. 🤣👌🏼 Have you ever been to Waco and gone tortilla tossing?!
I admit, I’ve been posting a LOT of floral pictures recently...but I just can’t help it!!! 😍💖🌸 These gorgeous blooms are from Japanese Magnolia trees in the Smithsonian castle gardens. They bloom a little sooner than the highly anticipated cherry blossoms, and last year we had a late frost so these blooms had a touch of frostbite. They were still so gorgeous. I can’t wait to go into DC this year and see all of the blooms! 😍🇺🇸🌸
It’s the first day of spring y’all!!!! I’m feeling as happy about that as this sweet little man!!! 😍🙌🏼💖🌸 bring on all the sunshine, flowers, and allergy medicine 🤣👌🏼 I have so many fun sessions lined up over the next few months and I CANNOT wait!!!
It’s been a while since I shared a bouquet on here and I can’t think of a more perfect one to share today! 😍💚💐
“Me and mommy in the sunshine” - Walker (age 4) 💙💙💙 . I tried to share this the other day when Instagram crashed, but it never posted so I’m sharing it today! Because it’s just too sweet not to. 😍
