Thank you, @cameronfrankproducts, for this adorable baby memory book! In all the excitement of being pregnant, it never occurred to us to get a baby book. I'm so glad we have this one now! Every page prompts you to document things we never would have thought to document, but that we will be thankful we did in the future! There are pages to record baby's milestones between birth and 5 years old. It even comes with 20 stickers - one for each month and one for each major holiday. I can’t wait for our baby to arrive so we can start filling this book with memories! Also, I had to include some of our baby's first heirloom gifts in this photo. Crochet baby booties from my parents and a silver rattle from @alyhughesphotography 🥰🥰🥰
We haven’t shared much from our gender reveal party a few weeks ago - until now! Click the link in my profile to read about our party and see tons of pictures from @deborahmichellephotography!
I love getting creative with wedding details - especially the rings! Since my second shooter was photographing the girls getting ready while I was photographing details, the videographer (Doug Horton) graciously held the rings up so I could get this shot! 💍
Happy first Father’s Day to my sweetheart! Weston has wanted to be a dad for much longer than I have wanted to be a mom. I can’t thank him enough for waiting patiently for me to get there. He has cared so much for our baby girl from the moment he found out I was pregnant. He’s the reason I remember to take my vitamins everyday. The reason I eat breakfast every morning now. He is a constant source of encouragement. He repainted our nursery even though he was sick and didn’t think it was necessary (although he loves the new color!). He talks to our baby every day and doesn’t go to sleep until he feels her kick each night. He is unbelievably excited to be a girl dad, which has surprised us both. He loves me so well and I know he loves our baby girl. I can’t wait to see her in his arms! Weston, you are already the best father! We are so blessed!
You know the details are going to be on point when the wedding coordinator is also the florist and she texts you the morning of the wedding to say she left some extra flowers for your detail shots 🙌🏼 I seriously love working with @teaolive.designs! Can’t wait for our next wedding together!
Well, I'm officially 7 months pregnant and it has been 2 months since my last bumpdate. I guess it's time I started embracing the bump. I told Weston I would start embracing it after the gender reveal party and I have to some degree. It has been more difficult than I imagined to mentally adjust to a growing belly. Part of the problem is that I have worked so hard to keep weight off and then suddenly I couldn't do that anymore. I still exercise and eat healthy-ish, which is why I have only gained about 9 pounds during my pregnancy. The other problem is the way people talk to pregnant women. Why in the world someone thinks that a pregnant woman wants to hear the words, You're expanding, You're getting chunky, and You're getting so big is beyond me. I have heard all of these comments and more and it is truly disheartening. It's like once you get pregnant, people think they have a free pass to say whatever they want about your body. Why can't people speak positively to pregnant women? We are sacrificing our bodies to bring a new life into this world and it's not easy. How would you like it if someone constantly pointed out your biggest insecurity while you were working on one of the most important projects of your life? Next time you see a pregnant woman, why don't you tell her how she is already such a great mom instead of commenting on her weight?
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of photographing @tammysimsphotography for #selmathemagazine! The issue came out early last week and I’m so excited about how many of my photos were used! Congratulations to Tammy for the feature and also to @teaolive.designs for the feature and cover photo! It is an honor to know and work with both of these talented ladies! Swipe to see a few more photos from the magazine. Stop by Selma Times-Journal to see the rest and read their stories 😊
