I’m sitting in the hallway of a local elementary school while my son is getting tested for preschool. I can overhear a 5th grade teacher and it has me thinking about that one time I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I went through a stage where I wasn’t interested in my current job (marketing) so I wanted a big change. I started my masters in education and went through almost the entire program until I decided it wasn’t for me. Looking back, I am thankful for that experience because it brought me to my love of being a business owner in the wedding industry.
