Guys. I’m tired. Happy, but tired. 2019 has been a whirlwind so far, and we’re just getting started 😉 -- So I am here with a friendly reminder to take the time you need when you need it. Yesterday, I was walking around in a sleepy fog. I managed to get some laundry put away, help Teo with some homework, cut the boys’ hair, and go to the grocery store… but I also took a nap and watched a lot of Netflix. -- Day to day. Week to week. Try to find that balance by tuning in and listening to your own mind and body - and tuning out the guilt and shame.
Just received this advanced copy of Big Boys Cry, and it is so beautiful! It looks like the perfect read for me and my sweet, sensitive sons 💙 Thank you to @jontyhowleyillustration and @randomhousekids for sharing this with me and @_adore_them_ 💙
I have really been enjoying the Coffee & Connect opportunities by @womenconnectlanc 😁 It is always fun to meet new, inspiring women and hear about all of the amazing things that they’re doing! Be sure to follow them for details about upcoming events 🤝
Julian playing his own version of curling with the robot vacuum the night before the carpets were cleaned 😆 He would run ahead & sweep the dirt into the vacuum’s path
Having our house appraised this morning so I’m at Starbucks enjoying the warmer weather and this book! 📖 I found it while browsing the library and have been so inspired by it. Every story that I’ve read so far has brought tears to my eyes in its short few pages. The way that these writers use words in such a concise, yet moving way is incredible to me 😍
There is something so soothing about Mancala. I have always loved playing it - the numbers, the strategy, the feel of the pieces. Turns out Julian loves it just as much and played endless rounds with whoever would join him 😊
