I had my full, immediate upper denture created by Wozniak Clinic inserted last Saturday after the remaining 6 upper teeth were removed. I have severe bruxism and this is a necessity for me at a rather "young age" of 47. The whole experience was great! From my initial consult to taking the molds and helping me make my extraction appointment with my dentist everything was seemless. Unbelievably, I felt great a few hours after my denture was placed. The fit is perfect - in fact, it's so good that I haven't needed an adjustment yet - which is surprising considering the swelling from the extractions is much subsided and almost healed a week later. My favorite part of this whole experience is the humor. I HAVE to laugh at things and Wozniak Clinic sensed this and laughed with me (in an encouraging way). Now, let's talk about how the teeth look. They are SO GOOD! They do NOT look like chicklette teeth (you know those fakers that LOOK fake because they are all exactly the same and unnaturally white?) Or those ones that are just WAY TOO big for one's head?! Wozniak shaped and sized mine to suit my face and gave them a bit of personality like my old teeth (I had slight fangs). I think he's an artist lol! No one would know I have a denture. It has not affected my speach in the slightest. Eating hard food is getting way better...I finally was able to eat solid food last evening. The denture isn't the problem with eating...it's just my healing from the extraction sites and the stitches that can be a bit bothersome. Trust me, I bit into a BBQ hot dog last night after a week of soup and mush and all is well!!! For me, the best part is not having pain. My old teeth were so destroyed and becoming infected with dangerous abscesses (the infections were starting to not respond to antibiotics) that it is SO COOL to have a bowl of ice cream, or have a drink and not twinge in sensitive pain. AND I can smile freely and not have to cover my face in embarrassment. Thank you so much Wozniak Team...I know that a lot of people think that these things are just cosmetic...but, for me, it's not. It's life saving - so thank you for making me presentable while at the same time keeping my health
