Strong feelings of anger or fear can be met with a short, helpful phrase: 'Not this, not this.' Reason, which is the subject of session seven in our Introductory Course in Practical Philosophy, tells us that such thoughts are only passing and do not remain forever. This graphic, by one of our students, Jenni Cooney, provides a very helpful reminder of how effective this phrase is, particularly now, with fear becoming so pervasive. #practicalphilosophy
