Already longing for a whole week of Sundays, this time next week it’ll be unashamed Pyjama days and champagne for breakfast! Just the final week and Christmas party to survive 🥂
I can’t quite believe it’s my last week before the Christmas holidays this week! The last few months have really flown by. But bring on a week of chill before Christmas, I can’t wait to be a lady of leisure for a couple of weeks! The start of next year is going to be intense so I’m going to make the most of the quiet time while I can, starting with more pottering around London to see all the lights 🙌🏼
Spent the day in Clifton village, eating smashed avocados, drinking oat milk flat whites and spending my money on independent magazines! A Sunday well spent n’ all that!! Now it’s time for the holiday and a roast dinner 🎄
Now the tree shopping is done it’s time to hit the Christmas markets, get my present shopping on and generally pack the diary with lots of festive fun! I had a weeks holiday to use before Xmas too so that’s a whole week of festivities to plan, although everyone’s working so that’s a spanner in the works! Who wants to book last minute festive fun with me?
Autumns take on my go to uniform. Giving the Midi and tee combo I relied on all summer a winter makeover with oversized knitwear and autumnal tone satin skirts. I might have this skirt in three colours and two new AOS ones in prints! Ahem! When it ain’t broke don’t fix it right?
I just love London at this time of year ❤️
Took a moment to stop this morning and get inspired at @facebook UK female leaders conference, incredible talks and inspirational stories always make you leave with a spring in your step. A few pertinent things I took away, ‘you are good enough’, and perhaps more relevant right now, ‘stepping out your comfort zone only brings good things, new opportunities and the chance for growth! Be brave’ 🙌🏼
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (on mediamarmalade.com today), and I couldn’t be any happier about it! London at this time of year is something special and I’m sharing my festive plans over on the blog in today’s post! Hope you enjoy x
Current autumn style vibes are channeling an early 1930’s street vibe, worthy of a lead role in Oliver I would argue, merged with 1960’s winklepicker perfection. This look sums up my wardrobe quite perfectly.
We finally bought our Christmas tree last night and spent the evening decorating the house! There’s nothing better than this time of year, all the festivities, fairy lights and beautiful decorations just make me so happy, and my house so cosy 🎄🎁
Spent the day yesterday pottering around London post a delicious dim sum brunch at @hakkasanhanway (one of my favourites) and it always makes me think how lucky we are to call this city our stomping ground. Especially at this time of year 🎄🍂
The festivities officially start this weekend and I am sooo ready for it! It’s my favourite time of year and no matter how old I am I still behave like a 12 year old on Christmas Day, and there’s just no denying London is at its prettiest when all the lights and decorations are adorning our shops and streets 🎄
