I see you. I see you trying. I see you putting yourself out there. I see you launching programs and maybe not having the best results. I see your struggle. I commend you for trying. It’s incredibly vulnerable to put yourself out there like this. It’s so public. So many people to watch us struggle to figure it out. Not many people come out to cheer you on at this stage. They mostly wait and watch. They live through you, waiting for you to make it. That’s when they’ll congratulate you and share that they’ve watched you grow and evolve. Not while you’re in the process. It’s strange. I don’t know why we as humans do this. I want you to know I see you hustling. I see you planning, learning, absorbing and getting the courage to do this business thing. I’ve been there too. Just keep going. You'll get there soon. And know - I see you and so many others see you. We are watching and cheering you on in our own way.
Seasons of business Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. Do you know what I’m talking about? Kinda, sorta? Here’s the scoop - it’s a general outline of when to run certain programs and when you lay off promotions. And it’s totally flexible and rarely does any business stick to the exact plan - unless you’re a multi-million business with some legittttt biz plans. Certain times of the year you will launch certain programs and heavily promote them. In between those times of the year you need to back off and give your audience space to warm back up. It’s like a road trip -you can drive for days on end but eventually you should pull over and let the car cool down for the next leg of the journey. Same with your audience. Hammer them with promotion but then love them back up. Give them love, then ask for it back. It’s a relationship. So, here’s how to plan your seasons of business - because it’s different for everyone. If you are a fitness coach, most likely your busiest time will be New Years, ya? So i’d promote your highest revenue producing program to make the most of that time. Then once the promotion is done you provide value for your audience. Warm them up for the next time you go to launch something. Maybe your next biggest time of the year is September? Your ideal client is going to have their own time they are most motivated to invest in a coach. - Learn these times. Get to know your audience. You do this and you win. If you have courses or group program or anything else you can promote those in between your bigger launches. Seasons. Quarters. Find a schedule that works for you and for your audience. If you want to learn how I strategically launch and make my business plans based on this, I’ll be teaching it in the Coaching for Cash Mastermind. Enrollment closes tomorrow so now is the time to take action and grab your spot! (Link in bio to apply)
“My time management skills suck.” “I feel like I get nothing done in my business.” “I don’t know what actually moves the needle but I’m working so hard.” Is this you? Let’s have chat. Tough love Court comin’ for ya. Yes, you are working hard but you’re working on the wrong things. You want a schedule because you feel like nothing is paying off so if you got more organized you’d make money. Not true. Truth: if you stopped hiding in the busy work and showed up publicly in your posts, live videos, free trainings, conversations in the DM’s etc then you’d be busy making connections, getting sales calls and coaching clients. Do that first then we can talk schedule. Every day your priority should be “being public”. Think how can you show up MORE today? How can people hear your voice, feel your heart and learn from you? That will go SO much further than an over-planned idea. SHOW. YOUR. FACE. It’s time to stop hiding. You’ve got to show up and be bold about it. Rather than learning new skills it’s time to measure your days by the amount of people you talk to each day. How many conversations can you have? I have at least 30 messages in my DM’s a day. Talking to real people. Providing real value. Creating relationships. That’s what moves the needle. So I say screw the perfect schedule that you’re looking for. Start having conversations with people. Show up and see what happens. And if you’re still like ok, fine, Court but I still don’t know what that looks like for me… Then it’s time to join the Coaching for Cash Mastermind where you’ll become a MASTER at showing up. Send me a DM to chat about it or click the link in my bio to apply. Love youuuuuu’s C
I struggled with depression, anxiety, addiction and an eating disorder for most of my life. When I was 18-24 working online and self employed it was like living a double life. Happy, motivated Courtney was growing, but destructive, sad Courtney fought every move. I tried to keep it together but I lost it. I needed help. So, when the biggest jobs came in, I quit. It was too much. At the time I thought I just needed to have fun and enjoy life. So I started bartending. Working in a club came with a crazy lifestyle. Maybe someday I’ll get into those stories but for now.. I’ll just say.. it was nuts. I spent a year of my life being in a downward spiral and after one eventful night I decided I was done. I quit my bartending job and broke the lease on my apartment. The next morning I drove myself to a yoga retreat center. I cried the entire three hour drive and the next 3 days I spent there. It was the first time I had cried in years. The following five years have come with challenges and so much growth. I’ve rebuilt. I’m happy & healthy. A different person with a crazy story. Life happens. People fall down. People get back up. I may not have the most “normal” past but it will never define what I’m able to accomplish. I’ve used it to propel me to where I’m at now. Not all people who struggle with these things are “dumb” or “lower class”. I’d even go to say the people who have stories are the ones with the most drive. We have the energy and the passion. We have the fight and the drive to overcome anything. We are primed for entrepreneurship. Do you agree? 👇🏼
Who needs to get out of their own way today?! Stop over thinking it! Think about the person you are trying to help. What do you want to say to her? Start there and let it flow. We can’t solve every problem but showing up remembering that you are just here to help that one person is enough. This isn’t about you. This is about her.
