Shout out to these next-level Chill youth! They showed so much initiative and engagement all season long that we asked them back for our Alumni Leadership Program (ALPs). While we shredded we talked about leadership, community engagement, and ways to get involved and give back, and let me tell you, they have some BIG plans. Can’t wait to see them in action. Go get it crew!
Last night the sun set on our 6-week Tuesday night snow program here in Burlington. Chill’s core value for week 6 is pride, and while program ending is bittersweet in so many ways, we are so PROUD of our youth who worked so hard and pushed themselves to overcome challenges all season long!! These kids really shredded and accomplished some major milestones this season. We ended it with a beautiful bang last night for sure!! 🏂🙌🏻❄️
UPDATE! We’ve already raised $1270 for Chill youth in Burlington towards our $1500 goal by March 12! If you haven’t already jumped on board, take a moment and help support a Chill youth today! If everyone who liked our last post donated just $1 we’d be another $47 closer to our goal! Can you make a small contribution to a big cause?? Thank you again for your generosity to a non-profit that means so much to us! 👆Link in Bio 👆

A couple of our stellar Agency Leads were twinning on the hill tonight! We’re so fortunate to work with such strong and supportive teams, who consistently pull out all the stops in order to make Chill a success and the best experience possible for our youth!
We’re giving a HUGE shout-out to Jason, our volunteer of the month! While we could list off all the things we appreciate about Jason, we wanted to share with you all his thoughts about his time working with Chill: . “I've been involved with CHILL for 4 years now. My first year was as an agency lead, and last 3 years have been as a volunteer. What I really love about CHILL (aside from the fact that it involves snowboards!) is the fact that it removes all barriers so that youth can engage in learning to ride, developing their self-confidence, and developing their leadership skills. CHILL removes barriers by: -Allowing all youth, regardless of their life circumstances to participate . -Providing the proper safety equipment -Providing warm clothes that young people want to wear -Providing great riding gear -Proving instruction and supervision -Transportation -Healthy role models . Many youth programs might offer scholarships to waive fees, but I don't know of another program that removes all barriers like CHILL does. I thoroughly enjoy being involved with an organization that understands these layers of care and accessibility.” . THANK YOU JASON!!
