No one puts Baby in the corner. Last Christmas our tree was squidged in the corner of our front room. It hated being so close to the woodburner and I hated the fact I had pine needles poking me in the eye when I was sat on the sofa. At the beginning of this year we had a rear extension to our house and now our tree has space to shine! We’ve also doubled up on the fairy lights and it makes such a difference. All the 😍😍😍 for this bad boy. #itsbeginningtolookalotlikechristmas
I’m pretty early with my #best9of2018 but as I’m not feeling the love for Instagram at the moment, I’m pretty sure these won’t be beaten for likes in the next couple of weeks. I’m a little perturbed there isn’t a single picture of an Utterly Wow wedding... 😂 There was a whole lot of love for Charlie but I guess he has been my biggest and best event of the year. Might collate my own #best9 tomorrow... Ratings schmatings!
You don’t have to ask me twice to talk about the 2019 Pantone Colour of the Year, Coral. I absolutely adore it, and in fact, I think it’s been the star colour in at least one of my weddings each year since I started planning. Lots of people pair it with mint, but for me it works best with various shades of ivory, blush and a hint of gold, just like G&C’s incredibly gorgeous marquee wedding in June of this year. Once again @bloomingayles absolutely nailed the floral brief!
Throwing it back to the second ever Utterly Wow wedding at a fabulous hippy commune in Oxfordshire in 2013. Charlotte the bride was my ‘wedding twin’; she’d been following my own wedding planning on my blog and I was utterly thrilled to be asked to run her day before I’d even officially launched. Theirs was a #diywedding like no other; Charlotte and her fiancé, John, made everything from the picnic benches they dined on to the ceremony backdrop. Charlotte even bought a whole TOWN’S worth of festoon lighting on eBay... although she ended up selling this on and having @oakwoodevents install something pretty special instead. It’s a wedding I’ll never forget! Images by @assassynation 😊
Fluffy sandals and a polka dot robe. If you can’t do full on glamour on the morning of your wedding, when can you? @elliegillardphotography was behind the lens at S&C’s beautiful Suffolk wedding in the summer.
It’s a little over two years since this ‘barn wedding in an urban warehouse’ I planned for the gorgeous L&G. I’ve been lucky enough to plan three weddings at @trinitybuoywharf now, and I am BESIDE MYSELF with excitement that I’m finally going to be an actual guest at a friend’s wedding there next summer. Canny wait. 📷 @kat_hill_photo
