I don’t know why I pull this face but I do know that it means I was having a great time at the @weddingbreakfastclub Christmas Party last night. A Christmas party for a bunch of freelancers is a little different to an office Christmas party. There’s no snogging by the photocopier for one as we’re too busy fan-girling (or boying) each other. Instead we were treated to an incredible grazing station by @berryandbrie, glitter and sweet treats galore, a drag show by @crayolathequeen (Yass Queen ☝🏻) and lots of delightful chats with delightful people. Huge thanks to @lexflemingphoto and everyone involved in the party planning, and to my hot date for the evening @heartshapedweddings 💖
Not my wreath! Alas, I’m not making my own this year but this one by @rebelandtherose is just too gorgeous not to share. SUPER excited to see what Esther is going to produce for my final 2019 wedding on the penultimate day of the year, no less. Three weeks and counting!
So long November! You’ve been thoroughly long and thoroughly miserable and I am positively buoyed that it’s our last day together. Or it could be spending the last hour and a half with the babe in the picture that has lifted my spirits. Or the fact that we got our brunch for FREE due to an overly-bouncy waitress forgetting to put our order through. Or maybe it’s just because I’m out of the house and in the sunshine which feels like it’s been severely lacking these last few weeks. Either way, I’m thrilled. I’m off bowling with the family this afternoon and then it’s the first of the (many) children’s Christmas parties tomorrow. Oh, and I’ve got my final wedding of the year right at the end of the month to look forward to as well. Let the December festivities begin! (Fully realise I’m a day early but I am KEEN.) 📷 @nigeljohn_com
I’m sure there’s an art to creating flat lays. I, on the other hand, could be heard to exclaim, “I have no idea what I’m doing”, several times as I attempted to showcase this delicate and beautiful invitation suite by @mathildalundin at a styled shoot. How did I do?? 📷 @voyteckphoto
“You’re one in a melon!” A loose watermelon-themed wedding design as per this effervescent bride’s request. With the beautiful @prestoncourtweddingvenue as a backdrop, there were gorgeous punchy blooms from @bloomingayles, ribbon backs for every other chair, and a brilliantly creative array of paper goods from @laurareeddesign; from the handmade fringed lanterns to the fortune teller menus and watermelon favour boxes 🍉 Photography by the remarkable @voyteckphoto
Oh @_helen_roberts and I had some fun putting this sign up. Much tree hugging, some swearing and a lot of removing of leaves from each other’s hair went on. But it was worth it! Thanks to @made_byjo for this gorgeous Welcome sign. 📷 @michael_newington_gray
