Did you hear about the #NoStrawStPete campaign in Florida? @wtsp reported that The city of St. Petersburg revealed a citywide campaign Tuesday to reduce and eventually eliminate plastic straw usage. City officials hope the No Straw St. Pete campaign encourages greater discussion about single-use plastics, like utensils and cup lids. Which cities would you like to see a campaign like this roll out in?

Update on @jilliansvanadventure : 🌿Patriot Park, Pigeon Forge🌿 ✨ 12 buckets of trash were cleaned up today with help of my friend Cash and his family. Cash lives in Tennessee, hosting river cleanups, environmental seminars and even sells his paintings to support non-profits. Cash is an ambassador for 1 Piece Each like me, which is how we got connected. Now I’m in Tennessee and we’re doing a cleanup together! ✨ 1 Piece Each has opened so many doors for me, taught me so many things about our environment and things as humans/consumers that we can do to make change. 1 Piece Each is a non profit organization, started in Florida, it has now been spread across the globe! If each person in the world would each pick up 1 Piece Each everyday, or if each person would skip a straw, imagine the impact that CAN be made💫 ✨ I had so much fun today with Johara, Cash, Colt and their parents walking around the park and parking lot picking up all of the litter that could have potentially blown right into the river. We found SO MANY straws, cig butts, and plastic bags. What’s iconic about these finds are, they are each caused by a single person, and can be reduced by a single person. If we all accepted that one person can make a change, that it doesn’t take a tidal wave of people to give up the plastics, that we can save the world from drowning in human influenced consumption. 1 Piece Each, 1 Change Each, 1 Difference Each; we can save the planet🌿 #environmentalist #ecolife #pollutionsolution #ecotravel #1pieceeach #change #plasticsucks #stopsucking #plastickills #adventure #beachcleanup #rivercleanup #action #explore #sheexplores #getoutthere #vanlife #travel #doyourpart #bethechange #inspire
