Comment: From the moment you walk into LHC, you know this is a cafe run from passion and love to really exhibit people to good food from the Middle East. The head Chef Ehud is beyond lovely and really puts his soul into every dish. The menu is a nice eclectic mix of Melbourne brunch flavours combined with some Israeli specialities. We loved the cheesey waffles- a different take on avo smash and the pesto mushrooms and chilli eggs which accompany are very flavoursome. The superfood Bircher (pictured front) is gorgeous and sets itself apart from your standard Bircher muesli. The baked eggs/shakshuka which comes served in a big bread roll is perfect and hearty for Melbourne's cooler weather. If in need of a sweet fix, don't look past the banana bread French toast which comes with marscapone and Persian fairy floss. All dishes were flavoursome, huge and very reasonably priced. Drinks, coffee and the waffle doughnut milkshake we're fantastic too!!
