Meet Monica, our lead farmer partner at our brand new origin! Did you know that our 72% Zamora, Amazonia Bar is our second partnership with a female-led farmer group?! Working with coops helmed by women has become a cornerstone of our direct trade model and we’re honored to work with Monica, who is pictured on the front of the chocolate bar. Monica’s family has been growing and harvesting cocoa for generations. Read more about Monica, and the storied history of Zamora’s Arriba Nacional beans on askinosie.com!

Happy Birthday to our Tanzania Field Rep, Saraphiner! She inspires us daily with her heart for the people of Mababu and her drive to better their community alongside them. If you followed her takeover of our Instagram in March, then you know her story and how lucky we are to have her on our team. From harvesting and fermenting cocoa with our farmer partners to leading Empowered Girls and Enlightened Boys meetings, we couldn’t do what we do without her. Happy Birthday, Saraphiner!
Direct Trade. Single Origin. Kosher. Fresh off the molding line. Let's be friends!

Do you like it hot? 🔥 In this bold bar, we infuse our dark milk chocolate with roasted ancho chile and tangy goat’s milk, and top with organic pistachios and a kiss of Maldon sea salt. We had a lot of fun collaborating with James Beard chef, Katharine Kagel, of the famous Cafe Pasqual’s, for this southwestern-inspired bar.
