If you missed our live video this afternoon, here’s Retail Manager (and cocktail master) David’s favorite cocktail recipe-- a Roasted Cocoa Nib-Infused Negroni. Roasted Cocoa-Nib Infused Vodka: • Toast 1/3 cup of nibs until aromatic, allow to cool and steep in a mason jar with 500 mL vodka, reserving 150mL to dilute with later (optional). • Steep for 1-3 days (to taste). • Strain out nibs and fragments with mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth. Askinosie Negroni: • Combine 1 part cocoa-nib infused vodka, 1 part Campari, dash of sweet vermouth (bitters to taste optional) in an old fashioned glass over ice. • Serve with an orange rind.
