I teach a nutrition class to teens and tweens in an intensive dance program — today we made a homemade trail mix (nut free!) and these parfaits in the photo. we also spoke about mindful eating and enjoying your food with friends or outdoor (and away from screens). It’s just another way I love to help educate kids (including my own daughter who is in the class) why it’s important to eat healthy, even as a dancer, and how to do so in a way that you enjoy!
Dinner last night: Chicken Paillard with Arugula-Tomato Salad! Recipe inspired by @ellie_krieger (I substituted the watercress for arugula). I’m on an Ellie kick this month— if you haven’t bought her cookbooks and tried her recipes, you’re missing out! This is one of my favorites to cook and my whole family loved it!
