Music has a unique power. A song usually starts as a solitary idea. It gnaws at you until you build up the courage to sing it aloud. You shape the structure. You fuss over the words but know anyone who listens will have their own interpretation. After playing it alone enough you doubt it’s any good at all. Then you play it for your bandmates or someone you love and you’re reminded why you wrote a song in the first place. What begins in complete darkness breaks through into dazzling light. It’s born to be shared. Thank you for listening. - Mike
