Friday introductions, baby! Once a upon a time before babies, me and my hubby would always adventure. And afterwards, well, we’re not exactly that instagram adventure family 🤷🏻♀️. Not sure if it’s just their brand, but seems like those families never changed what the were doing or stopped! ⠀ ⠀ For some, road trips went from going many states away, to the next state over 😆. All that starting and stopping and taking them out of car seats really takes a toll on my energy 😅. ⠀ ⠀ Sometimes I love the slower pace because I get to enjoy our stops more. Sometimes I get antsy and want more. ⠀ ⠀ I have to stop myself in my tracks and look at the facts though: my once newborn baby will be 6 MONTHS next month. My “little” guy is already 3! Before I know it, they’ll be out of car seats and adventuring faster than me. ⠀ ⠀ Love where you’re at, right?
Because literally everyone thinks they have no time. Being a full time mom to a toddler and a 4 month old while working at home, I often think this. Then I remember I still have time at the end of the day to watch some Netflix and hang out. Yeah, I have time. You make time for what you want. I choose to veg out at night some nights, and other nights I’m working on this business. (Still talking about that REWORK book!)
You know how most people have the problem of taking their phones out too much instead of enjoying the moment? I’m the opposite. Sometimes I’m like “Hmm. Maybe I should’ve taken some pictures 😂.” Trying to find a balance. But honestly is there really any?
Soaking up all the “fall” left this month! It’s almost my birthday and Thanksgiving 😊 Some of you are jumping the gun with your Christmas decorations. So then I get excited and start looking at Pinterest for holiday decorations. You guys, I’m trying to take it one day at a time 😂. But it is exciting 🙌🏻
I love all these photos of me and my boy. He turned 3 this week and time is flying. I hope we can instill adventure in his heart as he finds his own voice. It’s probably from living in a city for so long but we can always take a deep sigh of relief when we can wander without seeing cars around. Weekend plans outdoors, anyone?
