Her heart for loving and serving others is bigger than anyone's and she is celebrating with an awesome giveaway in partnership with @glassladder @redoakweddings & @julapaper!! Check out the giveaway post on @jenniferlarsenphoto's feed to find out how to enter to win one of the four awesome prizes: a free photo shoot or photography mentor session, a Glass Ladder iPad clutch + pen set, a Starbucks gift card, or Jula Paper Co. gift certificate! Jen, I'm so stinking proud of you and am doing happy dances while I pack my swimsuit to hang with you this week in Arizona, I love you to pieces!!!! And the site is amazing!!! (Headshots by @toripetrillo !!)
For Kinsey and Mikes Wedding we went to Norristown Farm Town Park for their first look and some portraits. I asked Kinsey if she thought he was going to cry and she was like OH YES, he’s a crier for sure!! And she was so right! Mike’s reaction during the first look was SO sweet. As he saw Kinsey, he put his hands over his mouth and was totally speechless, then tears ensued for both of them (and me). It was one of the cutest reactions I’ve ever seen. . . . . . #ohwowyes #thatsdarling #theknot #thedailywedding #soloverly #flashesofdelight #huffpostido #weddingwire #bridalmusings #rusticwedding #rusticweddingchic #weddingdecor #weddingdetails #rusticweddingphotographer #outdoorwedding #farmwedding#outdooradventurewedding #adventurewedding #freepeople #bhldnbride #anthrostyle #anthropologie #bhldnwedding #realbride #marthaweddings #realweddings #weddinginspo #weddingwednesday #bridalinspo #njwedding
“I am mindful of the strengths, skills and aptitude’s I possess that have helped me become who I am. I feel grateful for...” . My kindness and heart for others. My thirst for knowledge. My strive for constant growth both personally and professionally. My organization from my parents. My ability to see the best in others. My patience. My joy for life. My ambition. My photography skill. My passion for what I do. My heart for serving and leading others to live their dream life running their dream business. My athleticism (when I’m trying) and my confidence to jump outside comfort zones when life requires it. . This is a weird post to write... . I started a mindfulness journal last week and this weeks theme is daily gratitude. Today’s question was what skills strengths and aptitude I’m grateful for, and writing that down made me really proud of the person I am today. . And I think this journal entry was such a good lesson to love ourselves way harder and feel grateful every day for our gifts and our talents. We ALL have them and for some reason, we never acknowledge them. So, TELL ME! . What are some strengths, skills or aptitude’s you possess that you’re grateful for? Post one in the comments and then tag someone and tell them something you admire about their character! Let’s spread love!
It’s officially been two months since I posted on Instagram. And to be honest it was a completely unplanned hiatus. I wasn’t liking how much I checked the app for validation on my posts. I didn’t want to add to the noise and clutter. And part of me wanted to prove I didn’t need it. (And that was proved when I surpassed my booking goals for 2019). . So I’m returning to these little squares now to not seek validation or likes or followers or any of the vanity metrics that social media makes us believe is important. I’m returning now because when I look back at the last two months I realize there are about 25 incredible sessions and weddings that I’m proud to share. But I’m also returning to inspire. I needed to declutter my life (and wow do I have a lot left to simplify) and this was one of the things I needed to cut. But, for now! I’m back! . So if you’re feeling that way too, that you need a break from the noise, I just want to give you permission to remove the noise for a little while until you can figure out what you actually want to share with this digital world we’re living in. . And with that, here’s a sneak peak of one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever photographed from this past weekend!! Jessie and Ben has the biggest celebration ever FILLED with joy and I can’t wait to share more!
Real talk: I’ve been ignoring these little squares for weeks because I’ve been in head down do the work mode. . Today I give a free class to a couple hundred photographers who want work less and love more. . They want to streamline their businesses and get organized so they can have more time with their family, give their clients a better experience, and ultimately grow their business. . I came from a place of severe burnout (to the point that I ended up in the hospital) and I’ve made it my mission to make sure that no photographer or creative business owner ever experiences that. . Cause here’s the thing... You can have a dream life and a dream business all at the same time. One doesn’t have to be sacrificed because you’re chasing the dream of entrepreneurship. . I know this because I’ve turned my business around, and in turn, created work life harmony I didn’t know could exist as an entrepreneur. . We all talk about the hustle. But what about the working SMART so You don’t have to hustle 24/7? Why not talk about that? . Well... today at 1pm EST I’m talking about exactly that. PHOTOGRAPHERS, join me at the link in my profile to learn how to go from overwhelmed to organized l. I’ll share the tips tricks and tools I used to save 20 hours a week, elevate my client experience for my amazing couples and made more money in my business without working around the clock. . Link in profile, I hope I see you there!!!!
I adopted this cutie two years and have absolutely loved getting updates every month hearing about how she has turned into a baby calf who could barely walk being the trouble maker of the nursery to now an almost five year old! WHAT! As a calf she used to cover visitors with mud masks and tried to steal their cameras with her trunk! Her legs were so weak that she could barely walk which is why I knew that she had to be the one I fostered--because when I was 18 I had an accident that they weren't sure how I'd recover from and for a little while I too couldn't walk. So this is my baby- #kamok and I have pictures and paintings of her all over my office. A deep love for elephants sparked in me when I was about 14 and since then I've been collecting figurines and now fostering this lil babe! I have 30 elephant trinkets in my office! My mom also fosters a giraffe babe named #kiko ... and I'm pretty sure that Kamok and Kiko are friends at the trust. . I am excited to foster a new calf this year, and in honor of National elephants day, consider fostering one of these beautiful creatures too! I foster kamok through @dswt an amazing organization dedicated to protecting and saving their species.
