On this Thanksgiving Eve, I can't help but look back at this year and all of the incredible opportunities I've had to capture memories for so many amazing people. Gorgeous wedding days, Seniors graduating Highschool and starting a new season of life, families welcoming home their brand new little ones, and all the in-betweens! . In a slightly over saturated industry, with a TON of other really amazing local photographers to choose from, I truly feel thankful to the ones who have chosen me. The ones who trusted me with their precious memories, allowed me into their homes, and or to be a part of some of their most special life moments. Thank you to my amazing Clients! Y'all are the best!
Memories of our first apartment popped up today. It was a tiny 600 square foot space of coziness, and I loved it. A few years later we graduated to a bigger, and even more beautiful space. We've been here almost two years and there's still barely anything on our walls. I actually hung out first picture frame just a couple of months ago. . I may not have the gifting of Suzy Home-Maker, though, I desire it greatly. I look at where we started, where we are now, and I can't help but dream of the next place we will call home. But I'm enjoying the journey. Enjoying the simple things. Finding contentment in what is our life, and being inspired by what I love in other people's lives. Knowing, someday... I dream of white walls, and all of the windows, and cute little green plants...that I will for sure kill. So, cute little fake plants! #ihaveadream . What did your first home look like? What does your dream home look like?!
This rainy weather makes me wanna cuddle up in bed with my babe and never leave. Who's with me?! I mean, not with me in our bed...But, you know, with me?! #youknow #rainydays
My poor naked Christmas tree has been up for 4 days just waiting for me to adorn her with happiness and cheer. Decorating my tree with lights and ribbon and ornaments is such a work of art to me that I think I've been putting it off because I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Also, currently posting this while staring a half lit tree. Perfectionist problems. Back at it. I'll keep you posted, friends. #diaryofaperfectionist #struggleisreal #ilovechristmas
This kid. Winning at life and doesn't even have to try. I want to be him. #Goals
When you get home from work and go straight to your computer and forget to eat and now it's 10pm and you're eating Burger King because you had a random craving and your amazing husband is a babe and stopped on his way home. Livin the dream, people. Livin my best life. But also, I immediately regret the Burger King choice. #yolo #PhotographerLife
It's November 2nd and the song Silent Night just came on my Christmas Pandora station. The weather was cold and cloudy today. Everything just feels right. ▫️ And if you are one of those people that were instantly disgusted by this post, you should know, I did my civil duty to wait until after October 31st. You are welcome. But now, let happiness reign! ▫️ Where my Christmas lovin' friends at?!
Today was full of all things wedding prettiness. But there are adorable babies in queue waiting patiently for me. The baby toes - they call to me. Don't get too excited. I'm not talking about my ovaries. I currently like my babies in picture form. So peaceful.
I have my last wedding of 2017 this coming weekend, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda sad. It is such an honor to capture such an amazing moment in time for so many couples. Not to mention, it's really fun shooting pretty things all.day.long! Here's to an amazing 2017 and even more amazing 2018!
