Ropings are always so much fun to photograph. This was the first roping of the year at H&H and I was so excited to get out and see everyone and to photograph some amazing cowboys and cowgirls. Be sure to check out some of the images up on the blog. (link in bio)

There is a house that I drive by in my way home from town. At one time it was a really nice farm. It had a carport, good sized barn and a large front porch. I think of the family that used to live there. What it was like when they first built the house and how excited they were to raise their family there. Now it’s over grown with trees and shrubs and you can barely see it when you go by. The barn is fallen in and the pasture over grown. How we place so much value on earthly things while we are here bc once we are gone it’s no longer going to matter. What we own now will be grown up and be forgotten. Let’s not focus so hard on our earthly homes but our heavenly home ♥️

Today I took a ride with Zoe and Reid and I Road Cole (the horse I thought I was gonna die on a few weeks ago) and we had a blast. We survived and he actually did really good. After I got pregnant and then had Lyza I feel like we lost our connection. It felt good to have a nice ride one him!!

I needed tonight. It was Mexican food, margaritas and a fun photoshoot in the mountains with good friends ♥️
