Let’s talk styling boards for a second: they matter for flat lays. You could just buy a white foam board for $3 and call it a day. But these aren’t much more difficult and 3 cost me $25. All you need is a piece of plywood, premixed drywall compound and a joint knife. I use paint in mine too to give each one a different color scheme. ✨ Allllll you do is put the drywall compound on the plywood and smooth it out towards the edges until the entire thing is covered. Make it as smooth or imperfect as you want (I like mine with a bit more texture). The plaster is extremely forgiving, so you can keep moving it around until you have a look you like. ✨ The painting can be done during or after. The plaster has a bit of a grey tone to it, so, for my white one I let it dry and painted the entire thing after. But for this one, I mixed the blush in while I was spreading the plaster and I love the way it turned out. ✨ If you try this out, tag me in it! I want to see it!
Fall is officially here 🤙🏻 (at least in Ohio) - what are some of your favorite fall activities/traditions?
It’s Saturday! We have people coming over tonight, so we’ve spent the day prepping food, cleaning the floors and picking up dog poop in the backyard *~yay~*. I hope everyone has a good weekend filled with less chores than we have to do! 🍂🍃
