Nothing is quite as autumnal as a pumpkin dessert. I’ve talked about how much I love pumpkin pie before, but I’m just as enthusiastic about pumpkin cake. It’s warm, nostalgic, light and sweet. The cake has the perfect blend of autumnal flavors and is an ideal offering for a celebration during the fall months. I have friends coming to visit this weekend and thought this would be the perfect sweet treat to snack on all weekend. Bake up this delicious Pumpkin Cake with Spiced Caramel for a lovely treat this season.
We’re celebrating #WeddingWednesday this week on a Tuesday because I have a question for you (and because I was at @fsorlando planning today and didn’t finish today’s post)! Where should we go on our honeymoon? 💕 It definitely has to be somewhere warm, because as you can see in the above photo... I am not much of a snow bunny. ☀️ Any suggestions?
What is your go-to dessert during these chilly autumn months? I’ve always been a fan of pie, however, my NEW favorite is this Salted Caramel Apple Galette. This is THE BEST RECIPE I’VE MADE ALL YEAR. Yes, YEAR. It’s simple, delicious and like I’ve said before, the beauty about galettes are they aren’t so finicky like pie. No soggy bottom, no burnt crust… you get the idea. They’re fabulous! Find this recipe by searching Salted Caramel Apple Galette on my website. 🍎
Doing a little fall baking this weekend? I know I am! Anyone who’s ever shopped for apples knows how many different varieties there are and honestly, it can be a little confusing figuring out what type of apple is best for what. But today, we’re talking about the perfect type of apple for baking. The best apples for baking keep their structure, which keeps the chunks of fruit from turning into apple mush after spending some time in the oven. My go-to baking apples have always been Granny Smith because they always seem to hold up under heat and balance that sweet-tart flavor. What is your go-to apple? 🍏
Created the perfect centerpiece for my fall table today! 🍂 Has anyone else made a pumpkin filled with succulents? It’s so simple to and adorable (if you ask me)! Comment below if you’d be interested in learning how I created it. 🎃
Goat cheese, fresh figs, honey, balsamic reduction… need I say more! This combo is one of my favorites and it’s even more delicious when made on a homemade flatbread. Find this recipe by searching ‘Fig and Goat Cheese Flat Bread’ on my website. 😋
