Wondering why your messaging isn't connecting with your ideal clients... read this: 👇🏼 💣 Drop the industry lingo. Here's the thing: Because you're an expert in your niché, you know all the fancy words and phrases that experts like you use. ...But your ideal client isn't an expert in what you do, so they don't understand your industry-specific language. Here's an example of what this looks like... "I help conscious parents engage and connect with their children using emotionally intelligent discipline choices." Now, let's drop the industry lingo... "I help mums connect with their children daily without every conversation turning into an argument." Do you see how this sentence becomes so much more powerful when we drop the industry language and use words that the ideal client would actually use and understand? Now when the ideal client reads the sentence, they will actually CONNECT with it. Apply this to your own biz but putting your "I help" statement through this simple test: - Does it include industry lingo? - Does it show the transformation your clients want? - Does it use words your ideal clients actually use? Hot tip: Most people try to include the whole kitchen sink in their "I help" statement. You don't need to do this. Focus on communicating one clear transformation that will actually CONNECT with your ideal client.
