GHC Physics classes are using colors and patterns to learn about energy conservation. These infrared cameras show heat given off by electrical devices. Devices that give off a lot of heat are generally less efficient and cost more to operate. A student also conducts a self-designed experiment in which she investigates the pattern between the frequency that a metal plate oscillates and the and the patterns in the sand that result. Pretty cool! #SaveEnergyLA #LADWPinthecommunity @LADWP1
