Being a father to our sweet Mercy has truly been the greatest, most fulfilling chapter of my life. It has not been easy, by any means, but oh has it been worth every second and more. We always knew, though, that we wanted her to have a sibling. We wanted her to have someone close enough in age for her to grow up with, to adventure with, to bond with. And so, we are unbelievably excited and blessed to announce that sometime around the end of April (Mercy taught me not to give dates), we will welcome our second child to our family. It seems like just yesterday Mariah and I were dreaming of our future children. So, it genuinely boggles my mind that right there, just on the horizon, we can now see our entire, finished family. We can't wait to meet you little one. We can't wait for you to complete us, to make us whole. Hallelujah. *** 📷: @meganeguerrero
We got to wrap up our summer road tripping between destination weddings in Portland, ME & Rochester, NY. It was a once in a lifetime trip, bookended but two of the sweetest, most genuine couples. And yes, of course we’ll get you sneak peeks from both 😊 I cannot wait to see where our couples take us next!
Ok, I’ve been wanting to start this for a while, and it’s finally time! From some of the funniest toasts, to the most touching vows, we’re going to start posting our favorite snippets from over the years. First up, Bill & Helen’s Maid of Honor, threatening violence & dropping wisdom!
Being in the thick of wedding season means we don’t have time to post as often as we’d like, but I have some coming up that I can’t wait to share! Starting with Emma & Chandler’s Sneak Peek film!
Sweet Mercy, you have spent the last 5 days exploring forests, parks, a library, and a nursery. You’ve hammed it up with your extended family and made your first, and thankfully unsuccessful, attempt at catching a bouquet. You’ve waded, jumped, and flown into both a pool and Lake Tahoe. But sweetest of all, about 2 days into our family adventure, you started pausing mid-exploration to ask us to hold your hand and walk with you. And not just one of us. You’ve asked us both to each hold one hand, every time. And whether it’s just down the hall, or a 10 minute hike across town, you’ve held on tight to both of us the entire way. We love you too, sweetie.
We’re looking to add a few videographers, editors, and an assistant studio manager! If you have your own equipment and/or a sample reel, great! Honestly though, the gear we can find, the technical we can teach. More important than any of that is the fit. We’re looking for storytellers. We’re looking for individuals who can genuinely and deeply connect with people, individuals who see all the parameters of a live shoot not as constrictions, but as a palette to paint with. If this sounds like you, get in touch with us! email a resume, reel, gear list - whatever you’ve got, really - to firstname.lastname@example.org. PS. If you love the films, and you love the ethos, but you feel like you don’t have a creative bone in your body, let me remind you that we’re also looking for an assistant studio manager 😉
The 60 second sneak peek video is quickly becoming my favorite format. It’s short enough that we get to distill our shots down to our absolute favorite, but still long enough to build out a full story. And you get these delivered just a few days after your wedding! Thinking about adding it on to your package? #justdoit (totally just made that hashtag up)
Hi. Please let us film your destination wedding. Thank you.
